Dear readers, today we would like to introduce you to an extraordinary traveling exhibition that creates an exciting link between design, science and the fascinating world of microbes. Under the title “MicroPop – Design, Science and the World of Microbes”, the invisible is made visible and cutting-edge research is combined with innovative design.
This unique interactive exhibition was created in collaboration between the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, the Cluster of Excellence “Controlling Microbes to Fight Infections” (CMFI) and the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design, Department of Industrial and Communication Design. It will be presented at various locations and will find its final form of presentation at SPEICHER GRAMZOW, where it will enter into a dialog with the impressive industrial architecture.
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of microbes and experience how design and science merge in a unique way. The exhibition offers interactive stations that allow you to discover microscopic worlds and better understand the importance of microbes for our lives.
You have the opportunity to visit the traveling exhibition at various locations. In Stuttgart at the Academy of Fine Arts, at SPEICHER GRAMZOW here in the Uckermark and at MUT Schloss Hohentübingen in Tübingen.
The exhibition is open from Thursday to Sunday from 2pm to 8pm. Admission is 10 euros, concessions 8 euros, and children are admitted free of charge. You can expect an extraordinary experience that will change your view of the microbial world.
